John Letters launch new T2 ‘Square’ Driver

Under Direct Golf UK, who purchased the brand in 2005, John Letters has been able to develop exciting new products.

In 2005 Direct Golf UK purchased John Letters of Scotland and saved the famous brand from obscurity. Since then the backing of a successful multi-channel retailer has enabled John Letters to develop exciting new products designed for the modern game that have sold beyond all expectations. The latest addition to the 2007 range is the new T2 ‘Square’ Driver that has its own unique look and feel.

The large head size is inviting and instills confidence at address while the square shape produces greater stability and a very high MOI for maximum forgiveness. The driver features ‘Cup Face’ technology enabling a thinner face to be produced for higher ball speed and greater distance while also improving sound at impact. The T2 ‘Square’ is fitted with the Aldila Gamer graphite shaft as standard. This shaft has been specifically designed to optimise launch and spin on the big headed drivers.

“The T2 ‘Square’ Driver has been designed with quality and performance in mind for the mid-high handicap player, whilst ensuring this technology is available to consumers at value pricing. This driver further demonstrates our clear intentions for developing the John Letters brand and is just one of a range of exciting new products”, said Mike Smith, Direct Golf UK business development director.

The driver is available from this month priced at £249 but Direct Golf UK expect to offer it at £149
