Jacobsen is excited to announce the addition of a new dealer to its worldwide dealer network. Progolf, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, will offer Jacobsen’s full line of professional turf maintenance equipment to the golf market in Brazil.

A golf course construction company, Progolf’s management team has more than 17 years of experience in the industry building golf courses around the world for architects including Gary Player, Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus. Offering Jacobsen mowers, aerators, accessories and utility vehicles will help Progolf better service the growing golf customer base in Brazil.

“Offering Jacobsen products to the growing golf market in Brazil allows us to be a more complete resource to our customers,” said Carlos Antonio Miranda, CEO of Progolf. “We are now a completely turnkey company with solutions to help from the first shovel of dirt to the first shot from the tee.”

Progolf selected Jacobsen because of the manufacturer’s legendary reputation for precision engineering, superior technology and unsurpassed quality-of-cut. Progolf will offer Jacobsen’s full line of products, including the revolutionary ECLIPSE2 walking greens mower, an innovative machine that gives course managers the power to customize and control mower settings to varying course conditions. The ECLIPSE2 has a true floating head and its frequency-of-clip settings allow course managers to raise the height-of-cut while maintaining current ball speed.

“We are excited to welcome Progolf to the global family of Jacobsen dealers,” said David Withers, President of Jacobsen. “Progolf will help us build relationships inBrazilby providing customers with superior Jacobsen products and world-class support.”
