IMG Golf Course Management continues to grow

12.10am 13th May 2008 - Corporate

IMG is the global leader in the golf industry, with a reputation built upon a 48 year history of representing the game’s top athletes and with offices in 30 countries around the world.

IMG has also been highly successfully in its management of the daily operations of 25 of the world’s top quality golf courses in Asia, Africa, Middle East and increasingly in Europe.

IMG have recently been awarded several high profile contracts in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, including the management of Tiger Woods first signature design project in Dubai. Other recent contract awards include one of Europe’s largest proposed developments featuring three golf courses in Greece, the unique Legends resort in South Africa and a similarly impressive project at Tarascovo in Russia as well as two five star ‘signature design’ golf projects in Scotland.

Several other significant contracts are in the process of being signed, with IMG Golf Course Management going from strength to strength as high quality developments recognise the importance of experienced management as well as the significant benefits of association with the IMG brand.

The highly experienced European team based from IMG’s London office has also be recently strengthened with the appointment of Andreas Doring as Director of Operations following a successful 3 years as general manager at Cologne golf and country club.

“We are fortunate to attract an additional senior level executive with the golf operations experience in Europe that Andreas brings,” stated IMG Senior Vice President Michael Pask. “His direction will prove invaluable as IMG continues to develop and manage a host of highly impressive worldwide golf facilities.”
