One of the world’s leading firms in turf maintenance has joined the PGA’s official supplier programme.

Environmental Turf Technology, which combines innovative turf nutrition with unparalleled technical support for perfect greens and fairways, will work closely on the PGA’s branded facilities across the globe.

ETT has supplied many well-known golf venues and are also behind the pristine playing surfaces to be found at many Premier League and European football clubs.

Richard Lawrence, director of Morecambe-based ETT said: “The PGA are undoubtedly one of the most respected organisations within golf and we at Environmental Turf Technology are delighted that we have formed this partnership that will I am certain benefit many golfing venues throughout the world.

“ETT was founded 11 years ago with the aim of combining high quality products, competitive prices and new levels of technical support to Turf Managers. This philosophy has been well received at sporting venues throughout the world and ETT is now the leading fertiliser supplier in several countries.

“The concept of partnership is not new to ETT, we have formed partnerships with Turf Managers that have stood the test of time and we are confident that this association with the PGA will be as successful as all our other partners.”

The company was founded by Lawrence and Richard Fortmuller, who between them have in excess of 40 years experience, covering numerous climates from Reykjavik in Iceland to The Creek in Dubai.

Robert Maxfield, PGA property & commercial director, added: "We are delighted that Environmental Turf Technology has joined our Official Supplier programme. We look forward to working together on PGA branded facilities and ensuring they have some of the best fairways and greens to be found anywhere in the world."
