GOLFZON establishes new global business hub in the US

Leading indoor golf tech company relocates global business team from South Korea, establishing new Global Business Division led by GOLFZON America CEO Sean Pyun

GOLFZON, the leading global golf platform company, has announced the formation of a new Global Business Division based in Virginia, USA.

The decision to move the business division from its previous headquarters in South Korea marks a strategic inflection point and realignment of Golfzon’s global growth axis to the US indoor golf market, where demand and commercial opportunity are rapidly converging.

GOLFZON has appointed Sean Pyun to lead the new division, and he will serve concurrently as Head of the Global Business Division and CEO of GOLFZON America.

Pyun, who served as the LPGA’s Chief Business Officer for the Asian market prior to joining GOLFZON, will build on the company’s success in the United States and drive scalable growth throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, and select markets in Southeast Asia.

“Bringing our global business into GOLFZON America uniquely positions GOLFZON to strengthen our global leadership and accelerate traction in the US, which features a growing and dynamic simulator golf ecosystem across off-course entertainment venues, indoor golf centers, lesson and fitting facilities, and premium residential installations,” said Pyun. “For our valued customers and partners, the new structure will speed innovation time-to-market, allow us to deliver a premium and consistent product and service experience, along with more dedicated, localized support.”

Golfzon is recognided for providing an exceptionally realistic virtual golfing experience. Their indoor simulator systems, which feature advanced moving swing plates, automatic tee-up, and over 200 virtual courses, are popular for both home use and commercial venues.

Multiple market research firms estimate that the global simulator market hit the mid‑$2 billion range in 2025, with projected annual growth approaching 10% in the coming years. While North America and Europe are pacing this growth, the new GOLFZON US-based business unit will build out its team and expand the footprint of indoor golf across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

The new Global Business Division will build on GOLFZON’s recent US success, which includes a string of industry partnerships, double-digit annual growth, market-leading product innovation, and the success of the second season of the GOLFZON Tour.
