The newest signing to Greater Manchester’s only discount Mall, The Lowry Outlet Mall, is Golfland. The store, in a prime site, close to the Marks & Spencer outlet, is the new trading division of Hamshaws Golf, designed to attract golfers of all abilities and experience, with clubs from as little as £5.
Explained director Alan Cunliffe, “After a great deal of research and looking at various options we saw that the Lowry Outlet Mall offered everything we wanted – the right environment, the right size of store, an ideal site – you can’t get any better than being a neighbour of Marks & Spencer – and an attractive financial package.
“This is the first Golfland store of its kind we have opened and hopefully it will prove a blueprint for others. Initially we would be looking to expand in the North West to towns and cities such as Liverpool, Chester and Preston.
Price is one of the most attractive features of Golfland and with this in mind the 900 sq ft store has been laid out in a no fuss, practical way with easy to sort through rails and clearly marked sizes and prices.
There are big savings on many top golfing brands, the Greg Norman range of shirts start at just £12, Nike golf shoes from £30. Starting price for Skymax golf clubs is £5 with rescue or utility clubs among the ranges. The store also has huge savings against the high street on Ogio Golf Bags, and other top of the range names like Titleist, Callaway, Footjoy, and Ping.
