Golf Frontiers announce the appointment of Kristie van den Broek as its new Dutch Master License holder.
Kristie will be initially launching the International Pairs event for 2013/14 with a view to offering all Golf Frontiers international events at a later stage.
After a brilliant career in the telecom industry, where Van den Broek fulfilled various management functions at ICT and telecommunication companies likes Nortel, Madge Networks and Marconi, she started out her own business, DamnGoodMarketing.
This small venture allows Van den Broek to exploit all of her talents, one being an events manager. Van den Broek is an eager amateur golfer, in proud possession of her GVB (golf ability license), and has been involved in organizing various smaller regional golf events.
Kristie said: “Although there are many different tournaments, Holland has lacked a serious international challenge which appeals to the competitive ambition of our amateur golfers. International Pairs offers every amateur the chance to represent their country at the International Pairs World Final.
“My focus will be on creating events for all amateurs, club and non club members who can all play in their own separate tournaments. International Pairs, Holland will be totally inclusive to all golfing enthusiasts.”
Golf Frontiers director, Ian Mulcrone commented: “Renewing our relationship with Dutch golfers is a very exciting prospect and one that is important to our plans for Europe. We hope that Holland will spur other European countries to join our network.
“This year there is insufficient time for Holland to be represented at the World Finals at Machrihanish Dunes in October However, we look forward to welcoming The Dutch champions in 2014.”
