At the centre of this move is a partnership with leading golf simulator technology company, Ohio based, About Golf who will distribute FlightScope products in North America. Further plans to increase distribution in other international markets and Europe are underway combining an existing distributor network with new appointments.
About Golf have a strong reputation for innovation and technology and employ EDH ball tracking technology in their simulators, this strong established relationship between the two organisations is the perfect foundation for a strong future business partnership.
Commenting on the agreement Henri Johnson founder and CEO of EDH Sport added; “EDH and AboutGolf Ltd has a long standing trust relationship and we have every faith in the ability and commitment of AboutGolf to market, sell and support the FlightScope product range in a very professional manner in the entire North American market. We look forward to a very productive and fun partnership with AboutGolf.”
Bill Bales, CEO of About Golf added, “”We are ecstatic that we have gained the exclusive distribution rights to FlightScope for North America, and have been overwhelmed with the positive reaction to the new Kudu and Cheetah technology.”
The start of 2006 has and will continue to be both busy and high profile for FlightScope. The industry had the first opportunity to see the new partnership at first hand, including two new FlightScope models (Cheetah, and Kudu), at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show, Orlando. Quickly following Orlando was the GolfEx show in Dubai. FlightScope will make its European debut at Europe’s largest consumer golf exhibition, the London Golf Show to be held 27-30th April.
Product prices range from £4,000 for the FlightScope Kudu, £7,000 for the flagship FlightScope Cheetah. Financing options are available.
