Glenmuir and Sunderland, two of Europe’s largest golf apparel brands, are to exhibit at the PGA Merchandise Show inOrlandolater this month, it was announced today.
The decision to attend the show signals Glenmuir’s and Sunderland’s intent to expand their presence in the American and Canadian markets, having established an incredibly strong pan-European business and international sales networks around the world including Australia, Japan and India.
Glenmuir – which successfully took over the European sales and distribution of Sunderland two years ago – has also now acquired the Sunderland trademark for the USA, Canada, Mexico and South Americawhich will provide a strong platform to re-establish the famous brand in those territories.
Said Glenmuir and Sunderland managing director, Colin Mee: “Having acquired the Sunderland trademarks, we feel the timing is perfect to launch Glenmuir and effectively relaunchSunderlandin these key golf markets.

The famous Scottish companies will occupy stand 6384 in the golf apparel section, with both showcasing their extensive new 2012 collections.
