Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf apparel brands, returns to the Official Merchandise Pavilion at The Open Championship this year – where the company will showcase its Spring/Summer ‘08 collection.

Visitors to the world’s most famous golf event will be able to buy the best-selling products from Glenmuir’s new range, featuring the iconic Claret Jug or The Open Championship roundel logo.

The Scottish-based company has an outstanding pedigree in event and logo merchandising, most notably as Licensee of official Ryder Cup merchandise, and Glenmuir’s return to The Open comes on the back of a successful performance in the merchandise pavilion at the last Ryder Cup at the K Club in 2006.

Glenmuir will also be offering its stock service and embroidery expertise to Open Patrons and Host Venues, and stock has already been delivered to the Pro Shop at Royal Birkdale Golf Club, which hosts the championship on July 17-20.

Glenmuir marketing director, Andy Bough, said, “We are delighted to be making a return to the Official Merchandise Pavilion at The Open Championship, and we are looking forward to showcasing our new collections and branding to the thousands of golfers from around the world who will make the trip to Royal Birkdale.”
