The UK’s leading commercial coffee machine supplier, rijo42, have joined the GCMA partner network as a Business Partner – cementing a longstanding relationship with the Golf Club Managers’ Association.
Rijo42 has been supplying equipment, ingredients and accessories to the UK’s cafes, restaurants, offices, hotels and clubs since 1989. As well as supplying clients such as McLaren, BMW and Claridges, rijo42 are also the ‘Approved Supplier’ to the Indoor Bowling Association, the CIU, Cooplands, Jewsons and, more recently, Toni&Guy. rijo42 already supplies over 800 golf clubs around the UK.
The partnership with the GCMA will see rijo42 representatives – led by the company’s new ambassador Howard Williams – attending the association’s regional meetings around the country, as well as exhibiting at the GCMA Conference in November.
GCMA members will benefit from the partnership through an enhanced welcome pack. rijo42 will also continue to support the association’s regions, plus any club managed by a GCMA member that signs up with rijo42 will receive over £1,000 in free supplies and an affinity discount on all equipment.
rijo42, which employs over 60 staff, including a network of field engineers, has recently relocated to a state-of-the-art warehouse, factory and office facility near Bolton, and GCMA members are encouraged to visit to see the attention to detail that goes into producing the perfect golfer’s coffee.
Steve Robinson, rijo42 UK Sales & Training Manager, said: “To be recognised as a Business Partner by the GCMA has been a rijo42 objective over the past few years, and this agreement takes the relationship to a higher level. We’re looking forward to working even more closely with the GCMA members around the regions, who can enjoy our new introductory offers and upgrade options.’
The GCMA partner network gives GCMA members access to a network of endorsed companies that work across the golf club management industry, and provides additional investment for the development of the benefits and services that the association provides for its 1700 members. The recently launched network, which now includes 18 organisations, offers GCMA partners unrivalled access to key decision makers working at the heart of the UK’s golf clubs.
Mike Hyde, GCMA Communications Manager, said: “The GCMA and Rijo42 have worked together for over nine years, and it’s great to see their products in so many GCMA members’ golf clubs. We’re pleased to have renewed our relationship, and I hope that plenty of GCMA members benefit from the fantastic introductory offer, and golfers continue to enjoy excellent coffee.”
