Golf Business International has restructured its corporate partnership programme to widen its appeal and reduce the cost to potential parties. Having rebranded from the Golf Consultants Association in 2017, Golf Business International opened its arms to welcome corporate partners – but limited the number to just four, places that were taken by Huxley Golf, Iseki, Jacobsen and Rain Bird.
Now, with the support of the four original partners, Golf Business International is moving to a ‘company member’ model and welcomes new applicants.
Chairman John Ashworth explained: “We’ve continued to have interest from companies during the corporate partner scheme and it seemed logical to revise our strategy, open it up further and make it more accessible.
“So we have ratified a new company membership, which has been immediately supported by our original partners, who have all joined. Now, we are offering that same company membership to any business within the golf industry that shares the same ethos as our members: to work collectively to improve the sport and benefit our members.”
Company members will pay an annual fee of £1,000 and will benefit from attendance at all Golf Business International meetings and events; networking with members and their connections in the marketplace; Golf Business International’s preferred partnership agreements with England Golf and Wales Golf; brand exposure on the organisation’s website; opportunities to distribute through the network, mailing list, website and publications; and two solus emails per year to promote the company’s products and services.
Additionally, Golf Business International will share all press releases on its website and social media channels, and companies may nominate two employees to become representatives within Golf Business International, with each having a personal listing on the members’ page.
Ashworth added: “This will allow our company members to share in the drive to develop closer business relationships between the organisation and industry, and to take advantage of the sizeable number of enquiries from home and abroad received each year by Golf Business International.”
