Gamola Golf: Aberdeen’s new Golf Superstore

Gamola Golf, Aberdeen

Gamola Golf, the new high street golf superstore that it seems everyone’s been talking about, opened its doors in Aberdeen for the first time on Friday 4th May.

Aimed at golfers who are looking for quality and choice, with the added benefit of being in a city centre location, the 4,000 sq. ft. store has ‘wowed’ everyone who has seen it, with its stunningly contemporary design and the sheer volume and quality of product on display.

But it’s not all just about product. There is a 1,500 sq. ft. hitting area with launch monitors, a 160 sq. ft. putting surface  and a complete custom-fit service, all supported by specialist advice from PGA professionals.

Commented owner, Graeme Masterton, “I’m  delighted with how everything has turned out.  The store looks exactly how I wanted it  – and my customers love it, which is what it’s really all about.”

In the summer, Graeme will also be opening phase 2 of the development which will be an equally impressive restaurant and bar on the first floor completing Graeme’s marketing message ‘Shop, Eat, Drink, Play’.

Designed by golf retail specialists Millerbrown, the store is devoid of manufacturer’s stands and slatwall which, according to Graeme, is how it’s going to stay. “I want this store to be different from all the others, and to look designed for purpose. I have total flexibility to display what I want and where I want it, but at the same time look technical and contemporary, and that is what I have got”.
