Funding package for waste water plant

8.05am 31st March 2006 - Corporate

A new package from two leading companies helps golf clubs to eliminate water wastage and pollutants – and eases the way for funding. ESD Waste2Water is the market leader in biological water recycling and Golf Finance is the UK’s leading grounds care finance company
“The benefits are there for all to see, not only can we help clubs to drastically cut down on water usage but help them eliminate pollutants too,” says Tim Early, managing director of ESD Waste2Water.
“Our treatment plant operates using unique specialist biological microbes, which allow the water to be recycled over and over again, says Tim. “This new financial package allows them to purchase a system now and help protect this valuable resource.
“The latest Environment Agency legislation dictates that any pollution of ground water will not be acceptable and that the onus is on the individual to ensure there is no contamination. Golf clubs can either comply or face a potential hefty £20,000 fine.”
Golf Finance offers a unique flexible finance package for the ESD Waste2Water treatment plants. Ian Henderson, managing director, designed a dedicated finance package, which allows businesses to fund this vital piece of machinery as cost effectively as possible.
“Our aim was to put together an agreement which effectively offers a one-stop-shop,” he says. “Typically a golf club can install and operate a system for as little as £85 per week and at the end of five years the costs could reduce to as little as £20 per week. Every golf club is different and we are happy to speak to them individually to discuss a funding package.”
By providing a lease product, where all costs including the specialist biological microbes are built in, a golf club can securely budget – and know they have eliminated the possibility of prosecution.
