The newly-launched Four Nations Golf Challenge, that promises club golfers all the passion of a Ryder Cup event, has now signed a sponsorship deal with eGolfScore UK, the Country’s leading wireless golf scoring system.

eGolfScore brings the power of digital media and real time wireless communication to the individual golfer as well as the corporate demands of celebrity and charity golf events across North America, Europe and the UK.

The Four Nations Golf Challenge, the first event of its kind to be promoted on a national scale has sparked wide interest amongst club golfers at all levels from England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, shortly to play in qualifying events for a place in the Grand Final to be played on 19th/20th October at The Oxfordshire Golf Club.

Richard Woolley eGolfScore’s UK Director said: “We are delighted to be the Official Scoring System for this inaugural championship that gives golfers the pride and the passion of playing for one’s Country. This truly echoes the spirit of the Ryder Cup and we believe this will become one of the leading events in the amateur golf calendar in years to come”

The eGolfScore system, already adopted by leading, prestigious organisations such as Vodafone, Price Waterhouse Cooper, EA Sports, Betfair, o2 and the Gary Player Invitational, brings hard-edge technology to the Four Nations Golf Challenge, appropriate to this leading event launched by the organisers, Concierge Golf.

Stewart Marshall, Director of Concierge Golf said “We are thrilled to have an association with the leading company in this field that undoubtedly points the way to the future communication of golf both on and off the golf course, and look forward to providing instant information worldwide of our unique golf championship”

“The addition of eGolfScore’s Event Scoring Program with wireless scoring and real-time leaderboards will add fun and an interactive experience for golfers, adding significant value for sponsors, while making life much easier for the tournament organiser,” explained Paul Fenton, eGolfScore UK’s Director. “With our interactive website, golfer’s friends, family and co-workers can ‘virtually’ join the action without ever leaving their PC. We are thrilled to support this event.”
