Foremost Golf Professionals and, in particular, the EMP members enjoyed incredible success with the recent Titleist 4 for 3 Ball Personalisation Promotion.

The result from the Promotion show that Foremost members sold a total of 8,500 dozen Titleist Pro V1 golf balls during the four-week promotion, run between 15 April and 17 May, with 84% of those balls purchased in stores where Foremost professionals use the group’s increasingly popular digital marketing support service.

That 8,500 dozen sales figure represents an impressive 37% increase over sales during a similar promotion 12 months ago.

Incredibly, now that the raw data has been analysed, it can also be revealed that during the promotion, Foremost Golf’s EMP members were responsible for 33% of the total Pro V1 ball sales across the UK.

“I think the latest Titleist 4 for 3 Ball Personalisation Promotion provides definitive proof that Foremost’s EMP programme really works,” said Foremost Director, Andy Martin.

“It’s very exciting. Had you suggested beforehand that a relatively small group of Foremost professionals would be responsible for 33% of that month’s total Pro V1 balls across the country, I’m not sure I would have believed you.

“But the results are there in black and white and they show that, with the backing of the EMP, Foremost professionals really can beat the high street and on-line retailers at their own game.”

All over GB & I participating EMP professional enjoyed a significant uplift in sales of Tilteist Pro V1 balls during the promotion.

Graham Green from The Leaderboard Golf Centre in Reading, topped the sales list after selling 92 dozen Pro V1’s between 15 April and 17 May and he was followed by Geoff Berry (Bromborough) and John Green (Alwoodley) who both notched sales of over 80 dozen. Graeme Lisle (Carlisle), Brian Connor (The Manchester), Stuart Dowsett (Sundridge Park) and Neil Pike (Ferndown) all sold over 70 dozen balls during the promotion while Reay Mackay (Warrington), Julian Dodsworth (Stratford-on-Avon), David Hawkins (Wanstead), Rob Humphrey (Tyrells Wood), Jonathan Clewett (Clyne), Ian Burnett (Luffenham Heath), Patrick Smith (Kidderminster) and Matthew Laughtland (Bishopriggs Golf Range) all sold 60 dozen or more while new EMP member Joel Saunders (Verulam) weighed in with sales of almost 50 dozen.

“I have just started my new role as Head Professional at Verulam Golf Club and am new to the EMP programme so the success of the Titleist 4 for 3 Ball Promotion was a real eye-opener for me,” said Saunders.

“It generated a huge amount of business and also helped me to get across a strong message about the sort of deals I can provide for my customers. I will definitely be participating future promotions and look forward to the benefits that EMP membership will bring.”
