Foremost Golf Announces New Additions to its Impressive List of EMP Suppliers

9.41am 12th December 2013 - Corporate

CHALLENEOakley and PING Collection have been included on its list of Foremost Golf EMP Suppliers for the first time.

In a simultaneous development, the UK’s largest golf retail group has also announced that it has extended Nike Golf’s current status as an EMP Supplier in order that its clubs, equipment and balls come under the remit of the EMP Suppliers agreement and not just its footwear and apparel as was the case until now.

Oakley is the world’s leading performance eyewear manufacturer and works with some of golf’s leading tour professionals. Oakley has built a strong following within the game of golf and continues to develop innovative industry-leading products.

“We are delighted to extend our previous agreement with Foremost to join its list of EMP Suppliers and believe that it will give us access to some of the best golf retail establishments within the UK and Ireland,” said Kieran O’Connor, Oakley EMEA Golf Manager.

“Foremost’s EMP professionals have earned a deserved reputation for their business acumen and a solid working relationship with them can only be good for our business moving forwards.”

The inclusion of both PING Collection and Nike Golf on Foremost’s list of EMP Suppliers for 2014 extends successful existing agreements between the parties.

“Having been an Approved Supplier to Foremost for a number of years, we’re delighted to be joining the group’s Elite Marketing Programme and further strengthening our relationship with the Group and its members” said PING Collection’s Director of Global Apparel, Mike Forsey.

“PING hardware has very strong support from Foremost members and we hope that by providing outstanding product and service we can earn the same level of support from Foremost members for Ping Apparel.”

“Nike Golf is delighted to have added clubs, equipment and golf balls to the support it already offers in the apparel and footwear categories to the Foremost professionals on the Elite Marketing Programme,” said Andrew Green, Nike Golf’s UK & Ireland Sales Manager.

“We look forward to offering exciting creative and promotional activity for the benefit of the participating professionals in these new categories that are key to our growth within the Foremost Group.

“We are confident that Nike Golf and Foremost’s members will mutually benefit from the programme following the recent announcement of the Foremost Golf/ Golf Monthly link up.”

Foremost Company Director, Andy Martin announced his delight at the new agreements with Oakley, Nike Golf and PING Collection.

“We are very pleased that Oakley and PING Collection have joined our list of EMP Suppliers and that our previous agreement with Nike Golf has been extended to include its clubs, equipment and balls,” he said. “Our list of EMP Suppliers includes the majority of the leading equipment, footwear, clothing, outerwear, trolley and GPS suppliers and the addition of Oakley, Nike Golf and PING Collection can only enhance that list still further.”
