De Vere Hotels & Resorts has formed a strategic partnership agreement with Golf GameBook, which will see The Belfry stage the finalé of the BMW Road to Gleneagles 2014. De Vere, the UK’s leading golf resort and hotel brand, will welcome keen amateur golfers to the stunning Midlands resort for The Belfry Playoff on 14th August 2014, where the top performer will win a pair of hospitality tickets to the 40th Ryder Cup matches, courtesy of BMW.
The agreement aligns De Vere with one of the UK’s fastest growing golfing communities in Golf GameBook, a free mobile scorecard which allows golfers to record scores, track progress over time and interact with friends who are also using the app, regardless of where they are in the world.
De Vere’s enjoys a long-standing association with the Ryder Cup through The Belfry, which is the world’s only four-time Ryder Cup venue,and the PGA, established through its impressive portfolio of resorts and heritageof hosting European Tour, European Senior Tour, EuroPro Tour and Ladies European Tour events.
