The Palmer Williams Golf Academy is a new business at Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club, Marbella, Spain headed by British PGA professionals Steven Palmer and Daniel Williams.
A major part of the business is their Elite Academy, where they are busy recruiting a small number of aspiring tour professionals. Palmer Williams provides its Elite Academy members with a complete support system, enabling the players to fulfil their potential at a very affordable price during the cold wet winter months.
“As ex-aspiring European Tour professionals and highly experienced coaches of professionals and top amateurs, we know what the aspiring tour professional needs to do to succeed,” they say. “In Northern Europe the weather plays a huge role and often has a negative impact on the tour professional’s momentum, making it very difficult for golfers from Northern Europe to progress at all during the winter months. We have put together a fully comprehensive support system for dedicated, motivated aspiring tour professionals.”
The package includes, golf club membership, accommodation, access to a fully equipped gym and practice facilities with range and practice balls included. Also included are the players’ private coaching sessions, golf specific personal training, golf psychology coaching and nutritional advice along with financial planning and tournament scheduling, which completes the package. Each Elite Academy member can choose to stay from 1 to 4 months, enabling them to maximise their development during the winter.

The program gets underway from mid-October.
