The Carr Golf Group is expanding. The company which was set up 10 years ago by Marty Carr, son of the famous JB, has been developed in to the most diversified and comprehensive golf organisation in Ireland, employing 35 full time staff.
The travel division, Carr Golf & Corporate Travel, has established itself as the premier incoming golf tour operator specialising in the US & UK corporate and high end golf travel market.
With the number of new courses being developed around the country, Carr Golf recognised the shortage of available outside commercial management and marketing expertise and the services division now provides a comprehensive service to clubs advising them on management, marketing, recruitment and other issues.
Carr Golf Services currently manages 6 golf courses and has branched into course design with a number of projects under way, most notably the redesign of the Dromoland Castle Golf Club in New-Market-on-Fergus, County Clare, where they have teamed up with the renowned US designer Ron Kirby.
