Boccieri Golf Continues European Expansion

12.25am 8th June 2007 - Corporate

Boccieri Golf – prompted by high global demand for its TOUR-proven Heavy Putter – has named Golf Brothers, an affiliate of German golf-products distributor McEvans Sports, as its agent in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The new partnership expands Boccieri Golf’s alignment with proven overseas delivery channels. McEvans Sports – distributor of the Heavy Putter in Germany and Austria, as well as Fairway & Greene and Zero Restriction golf apparel – and Golf Brothers are recognized as the leading industry suppliers in their markets.

McEvans Sports and Golf Brothers will benefit from Boccieri Golf’s recent establishment of a centrally-located warehouse in Germany to optimally service its growing distributor network in Europe. The creation of this supply-chain efficiency allows Heavy Putter distributors to satisfy their customers faster and at a lower cost.

Boccieri Golf also re-acquired Canadian distribution rights to bring the total representation of the Heavy Putter to 29 markets worldwide.

“Golf participation has skyrocketed in Eastern Europe, and word about golfers’ success with the Heavy Putter is widespread,” says Matt McGinn, director of McEvans Sports. “Our market closely follows what European TOUR players ride to victory, and the Heavy Putter has been in the winner’s circle multiple times.”

“We’re thrilled to work with McEvans Sports and Golf Brothers,” says Stephen Boccieri, president and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “Their reputations are top notch and ensure the Heavy Putter is easily available to all golfers in these territories.”

The new Heavy Putter Matte Series retails for $199, including the adjustable tip-weight kit. Three blade and three mallet models come in standard, mid and long-putter lengths for men and women with different shaft configurations. Some models are available for left-handed golfers.
