BLEC GLOBAL have delivered three specialist sportsturf machines to Denmark – two to a turfgrower who owns a golf course and one to a football stadium.
Gary Mumby, BLEC managing director, handed over a heavy duty Turfmaker Seeder TM8 and a Power Box Rake PBR240 to leading turf grower and golf club owner Jeppe Hansen in Volstrup, northern Jutland.
And at Korsor Stadium near Copenhagen he delivered a BLEC Multiseeder, for use in the main stadium and on the training ground by head groundsman Kenneth Olsenn.
“We are delighted these very influential customers chose BLEC machines,” says Gary, who announced they have added Danish company Sonderup to their growing distributor network in Denmark.
“Our increasing turfcare and landscaping machinery distributor base in Northern Europe shows we are developing an excellent following in this part of the world.”
Volstrup Golf Club has an 18-hole and nine-hole course owned by the Hansen family, who are leading turf growers and suppliers in Denmark.
Korsor Stadium is home to the town’s football team and used by other teams in the area of Zealand, about 20 miles from capital city Copenhagen. Korsor municipality has a population of about 15,000.
BLEC Global have had a successful 2014 so far, following BTME in Harrogate – where they launched a close-space (26mm) greens disc seeder – and the Golf Industry Show in Orlando, Florida.
