Big Max strengthens European market shares

Golf bag and push trolley specialist Big Max has extended its significant lead in both golf bag and push trolley market share in Europe following the publication of 2019 sales figures.

Golf bag and push trolley specialist Big Max has extended its lead in both golf bag and push trolley market share in Europe following the publication of 2019 sales figures.

Data collected from Golf Datatech shows that in the DACH market (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Big Max built on its 20-year position as the No.1 push trolley brand by extending its market share to 42.1% – 28% higher than the second-placed brand. Figures for the Swedish market revealed that 58.3% of all push carts were sold by Big Max.

In the company’s newer category – golf bags – Big Max held a 28.7% market share in German-speaking territories, while in the Swedish market the brand took top spot in golf bag market share for the first time with 16.8%.
