Specialist sports and tourism agency Azalea has taken on a new member of staff and promoted several more from within as the Petersfield-based company continues to grow its business.
Daniel Chidley, 34, (pictured centre) who joined the company six years ago and has 14 years’ experience in UK and European leisure tourism, has been appointed to the board of directors with immediate effect and takes the title of group account director, with responsibility for management of all client activity.
Following a succession of successful client social and digital campaigns, James Robbins, 24, (pictured left) has been promoted to digital media manager, with front-end responsibility for devising and implementing strategic social and digital campaigns across the spectrum.
And, to complement the existing account management structure, Josh Abbott, 23, (pictured right) joins the company as marketing and PR executive, bringing additional skills in digital and mainstream PR, and social media and videography.
Azalea’s managing director, Sean Noble, feels the appointments strengthen further an impressive team, which has a complementary collection of skills.
He said: “We are delighted to welcome Josh to our team. He is enthusiastic, dynamic, full of ideas and comes highly recommended. The company’s growing portfolio of clients on the social and digital media stage is testament to James’ insight and creativity, and his appointment will help us drive on to a bright future.”
Noble added: “Dan is a mainstay of our team, and his elevation to the board offers us a fresh perspective. The company continues to benefit greatly from his marketing and leadership experience in our core and developing sectors.”
