Aerotech SteelFiber Shaftssf-i110Poole Business Associates appointed as the PR & Marketing agency for Aerotech SteelFiber Golf Shafts for the UK and Europe.

Aerotech SteelFiber shaft are unique! This exciting new category of golf shaft delivers the power of graphite with the stability of steel. Aptly named ‘Composite’ – a name we will get to know well in the future!

More than 59 miles of steel fiber is applied to the surface of each graphite core with extreme precision using a computer-controlled wet winding machine technique. Steel fiber is applied to the Hoop (90 degs) orientation to eliminate distortion of the shaft during the swing and at impact for exceptional stability.

As the world’s first perimeter weighted golf shaft, Aerotech’s SteelFiber adds more stability and forgiveness with every shot. The steel fiber around the perimeter creates greater density (weight) on the shaft’s surface that moves the shaft wall’s centre of gravity outward, thus increasing the shaft’s MOI.

The steel fiber shaft has superior hoop strength which prevents the shaft from deforming during the swing and at impact for unmatched stability during the golf swing whilst the lightweight properties of graphite increase clubhead speed and promotes greater distance. The vibration dampening of graphite reduces the risk of injury and player fatigue during the round.

SteelFiber shafts have been No.1 Iron composite shafts on the PGA Tour in 2010, 2011 and 2012, with 2 top 10s at the Players Championships and No. 2&5 in the 2013 PGA Tour money list.
