12.04am 3rd May 2011 - Corporate - This story was updated on Sunday, May 15th, 2011

In what can be described as challenging times for the golf retail industry Cleveland Golf and Srixon have become renowned for finding ways to assist independent shops in their day to day trade.

Cleveland Golf has now introduced an exciting new opportunity for club professionals all over the UK. The aim of the promotion is to maximise the sell through of Cleveland Golf’s new Launcher Ultralite Drivers and is once again aimed at incentivising golf pro shops across the country.

The successful head professionals will gain entry into two round tournament at the Saadiyat Beach course in Abu Dhabi. Flights will be free with Etihad airways along with accommodation at the luxury five star Grand Millennium Al Wahda Hotel.

The date of the trip will be 2nd-5th October 2011. The leading assistant professional will receive a Nikon Laser 350G Rangefinder as well as a ball, wedge and glove contract for 2012. The second assistant will receive a Nikon Laser 350G Rangefinder.

There are 36 spots available for the trip to Abu Dhabi, 18 for super brand accounts and 18 for brand accounts. The top three performing accounts from each category will automatically receive their plane tickets to the Middle East and the rest will all be drawn, but the more entries into the draw professionals have the more chance they have of winning, therefore keeping in line with Cleveland Golf’s policy of incentivising their customers.

Ben Davis, European Marketing Manager Srixon Sports Europe, said, “We are totally committed to helping our customers with sell through in store and this promotion is testament to that commitment.”
