National Club Golfer and Lady Golfer to publish special ‘Celebration of Golf’ digital magazine in May free to all advertisers
‘National Club Golfer’, published by Sports Publications, who state that this is the most read golf title in the UK, will publish a special digital-only May version of the magazine offering all clients a free advertisement.
The magazine’s theme will be: A Celebration of Golf’. Stakeholders from across the golf industry will be invited to share with NCG readers: their own golfing tales; the inspiring resilience golf clubs, golfers and colleagues have shown during this period; what the game means to them personally; and their thoughts looking ahead to the day when golf can be resumed.
It will include the very best from the NCG archives, and comment from the game’s governing bodies and leading lights.
“Very few businesses in the golf industry – large or small – are in a position to continue with their marketing plans right now, which is entirely understandable in the circumstances,” said Dan Murphy, editor of over 150 consecutive monthly issues of National Club Golfer since 2006.
“We wanted to thank our advertisers for the loyalty they have shown to the magazine over the years.
“We also want to do our bit and offer a gesture of support at a time when it is most needed. We all need each other’s help right now – that’s equally true of the golf industry as it is in our personal lives with our families and friends.
“As ever, our aim is to get as many eyeballs as possible on our content to give advertisers maximum value and so alongside the free adverts we’ll be featuring views from across the golf industry that we think will make for a fascinating read as well as an insight into what is happening up and down the country,” he said.
The digital magazine will be released on Friday May 1st and will be prominently referenced on http://www.nationalclubgolfer.com
