The DP World Tour has appointed Golf Club Media 2.0 as the official player communications hub for the 2026 DP World Tour Championship, which is taking place at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai from November 13-16.
Now celebrating its 17th year, the DP World Tour Championship is a world-class sporting and social event, and the final tournament in the prestigious Rolex Series. The top 50 players on the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai Rankings will compete on the Earth Course this week, with Rory McIlroy, Marco Penge and Tyrrell Hatton all with a chance of winning the season-long Race to Dubai title.
For the first time, all key player information for the event will be delivered digitally via the GC Media 2.0 platform, replacing the printed player handbook traditionally issued on arrival.
GC Media 2.0 will provide players, caddies and support teams with a single digital hub for all essential tournament details, including:
- Full day-by-day event schedule
- Accreditation and ticketing details
- Courtesy car and shuttle bus timings
- On-site catering and dining options
- Player guest activities and entertainment
- Crèche and family facility information
- Medical and physio services
The information will be accessible through two 75-inch touchscreen displays located within Jumeirah Golf Estates, supported by a mobile responsive link for instant access on personal devices.
Freddie Schmeisser, Head of Championships – Middle East, DP World Tour, said: “The player experience is central to our planning, and moving to a digital communications hub allows us to deliver clearer, faster and more sustainable information throughout the week. GC Media 2.0 gives players everything they need in one place, whether they’re on site or on the move.”
Ben Phillips, Media Director at GC Media, added: “It’s a privilege to support the DP World Tour at its flagship season finale. GC Media 2.0 was originally developed to streamline member and visitor communications for leading golf and country clubs around the world, and its flexibility has made it a perfect fit for tournament use. We’re proud to see the platform supporting one of the most prestigious events in global golf.”
GC Media 2.0 is already in use across more than 100 leading golf venues in the UK, with further adoption now extending into the Middle East and India.
