Invited, the worldwide leader in private clubs and formerly known as ClubCorp, has announced the opening of the renovated clubhouse at Atlanta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA.
As part of a multi-million reinvestment project at the club, the clubhouse was completely renovated from top to bottom to create a refined yet inviting environment that best fits today’s members.
Atlanta National is one of several properties identified by Invited to be included in its multi-year, multi-million-dollar reinvestment strategy aimed at enhancing the company’s diverse portfolio of clubs. Renovation work at the clubhouse began in 2023 and focused on giving the clubhouse a more modern, updated look inside through strategic investments in its golf training facilities, dining and entertainment offerings and meeting spaces.
“This multi-year project has long been rooted in our commitment to fashion the best possible experience for our members, and this comprehensive renovation has delivered on that promise,” said Ian Grimwade, General Manager. “The clubhouse is the heartbeat of Atlanta National Golf Club, bringing together members and their families and friends to make lasting memories, and these investments have enabled us to take that experience to a new level. We’re excited to welcome our community to a beautiful, inviting clubhouse.”
The clubhouse’s restaurant, Pete’s, has been completely overhauled from its design to its menu, creating a new, inviting atmosphere that is welcoming, yet elegant. Warm, earthy tones, soft lighting, and cozy seating arrangements greet members, while the revamped menu offers a diverse range of dishes, from gourmet options to classic favourites.
Expanding the availability of golf training initiatives also was a key element of the renovation, led by the construction of a cutting-edge fitness Golf Performance Fitness Center inside the clubhouse. Outfitted with state-of-the-art Technogym Skill Line equipment, these cutting-edge machines are renowned for their precision engineering and innovative features.
The club also built a new Golf Simulator Lounge named Squire’s, a nod to the Gene Sarazen statue in front of the clubhouse. Two simulator bays will enable members and guests to not only hone their golf skills, but also offer a new option for entertainment during days of poor weather. The lounge features top-of-the-line simulators that will replicate several of the world’s most famous golf courses, while also curating a new social hub for members and guests to gather.
An upgraded pro shop incorporates sleek design elements that remain true to the prestige of the original clubhouse of Atlanta National Golf Club. The revamped look is punctuated by clean lines, premium finishes, and thoughtfully arranged displays featuring premier apparel and products for members and guests.
Atlanta National Golf Club features a par 72, 6,966-yard course that the only layout in the Atlanta area designed by the legendary Pete Dye and his son, P.B., boasting undulating greens and deep bunkers with an iconic island green at No.17.
In addition to Atlanta National Golf Club, Invited owns and operates 15 private membership clubs in the Atlanta area.
