Why do we exhibit at BTME?

9.00pm 12th November 2018 - - This story was updated on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018

Despite expanding the potential exhibition space at BTME by around 25% for 2019, the Harrogate Convention Centre will once again be packed with exhibitors.

More than 93% of stand space has already been sold, with exhibitors already planning their activities for the event – whether it be product launches, prize draws or any other attractions to catch the eye of the thousands of attendees.

But what is it that makes BTME such an attractive opportunity for those within the turf management industry?

Neil Fraser, operations manager at Greenacres Artificial Grass, said the company returns to BTME year-on-year as it gives them the opportunity to reach out directly to large parts of their target audience in one place, rather than having to travel the country.

He said: “Harrogate provides the perfect venue for such an exhibition because of the great facilities of the Harrogate Convention Centre and the numerous bars and restaurants nearby, which can definitely help with the networking side of things!

“The popularity of Harrogate is a draw for visitors to the show. As an exhibitor, it is a much more pleasant place to exhibit and stay.”

Neil explained how exhibiting at BTME also allows companies to see trends in the market and assess their clients’ requirements.

He added: “We never fail to learn from visitors to our stand, whether that be from knowledge they have gained or the new problems and requirements they have. Hopefully we have the solutions but if not, it gives us food for thought in terms of product development.

“In addition to this, it gives us the perfect platform to meet face-to-face with some of our key partners to discuss the latest projects and plans for the coming year.”
