As the growth of online readership among magazines and websites continues to grow unabated, step-forward new company called AD Driver Limited, who will be offering the golf industry exclusive access to over 200k golfers from July 2016.
Backed by six well established golf publishers including Fyne Associates (Publishers of Golf South Magazine, Golf North Magazine) Yourcaddy Magazine, Golf Deals Group, TheSocialGolfer.com and IndepentGolfReviews.com, the new Ad network will be able to deliver over 6.5m Ad impressions per month to the golf industry.
The new company has been put together by Ian Mullins (MD of TheSocialGolfer.com) and Paul Graham-Fielding (Publisher & Editor of Yourcaddy) who felt there was a real lack of choice in the market for online advertisers.
The initiative is unique in the sense that the publishers within the network, also benefit having their own ad inventory published across the platform, when there is latent inventory available on the publishers’ sites.
In addition, all the publishers in the network have agreed to support and promote its fellow websites via their social media channels and forums, driving further value to all parties.
The new company which will be headed up by Mullins (Planning) and Graham-Fielding (Operations) is offering a ‘New advertiser’ rate for July & August only, allowing interested advertisers to buy inventory through the network for a flat rate of £8 cpm during this period, regardless of ad banner size.

Speaking on the eve of the launch, Director Ian Mullins said: “I have worked as a media planner in 3 of the top 5 UK Planning and buying agencies over a 20 year period. The one thing I could never offer my clients was the ability to target an upmarket ABC1 male golfer without spending huge amounts of money on Outdoor and TV. The AD Driver network will provide both a targeted and time sensitive solution to both new and established golf brands, and agencies who are looking to drive value and a high volume of quality clicks for their clients.”
Fellow Director Graham- Fielding went on to say: “Coming from a background in developing ad network primarily in the Gaming industry, I was very surprised at the lack of choice available for advertisers. This opportunity will give both small and big brands a unique and affordable way of targeting a very hard to reach audience. We’ll also be working very closely with our publishers to drive revenue and value for everyone!”
