Playing a round of golf with some of the world’s best players is something most golf fans can only dream about, but those dreams could now be a reality after the European Tour launched its new Travel Club.

In partnership with Golfbreaks.com, The European Tour Travel Club offers unique experiences for golf fans looking to combine breaks away with once-in-a lifetime rounds.  These include the chance to play in the Pro-Am at a European Tour event, meaning you could be teeing off alongside many of The European Tour’s stars to play a full 18 holes. Pro-Am packages for some of the most prestigious events on The European Tour are now available.

With the Sunday Pins on Monday offer, individuals or groups of friends can book to play on a full tournament course set up the day after an event, giving fans a truly unique taste of what it is like to compete on the European Tour stage for real. Following the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, for example, golf fans can play the famed Palmer Course with the pin positions the same as they were the day before. A two-night Sunday Pins on Monday package starts from £689.

The European Tour Travel Club also offers travel packages to the European Tour’s network of world-class venues in their Properties portfolio, as well as a host of tournament venues around the world. Whether it’s the 2018 Ryder Cup venue of Le Golf National in Paris, Spain’s No.1 course PGA Catalunya, or the fabulous Quinta do Lago in Portugal, there is something to appeal to all golf fans.

Customers can book from more than 2,000 golf breaks all over the world at Golfbreaks.com, featuring a true bucket list of venues across the USA, Europe’s sunshine fairways or the classic links of Britain and Ireland.

Keith Pelley, Chief Executive of The European Tour, said: “‎People are increasingly seeking unique experiences on holiday and golfers are no different. Yes, they want the best courses and great accommodation, but never before have they been able to access our Pro-Am tournaments or play tournament courses on our schedule as part of a European Tour Travel package.”

The European Tour International Schedule – known as ‘The Race to Dubai’ – comprises 48 events on four continents in 2016, taking in some of the world’s most exciting destinations, including Hong Kong, Dubai, Shanghai, Paris, Kuala Lumpur and New Delhi.

Keith Pelley added: “The European Tour has the widest global footprint of any professional golf tour, and now we can integrate a superb booking experience for our unparalleled inventory of golf services and products.”
