The Golf Show Group has announced the dates and venue for the London Golf Show 2016 as 26th to 28th August at Bluewater, moving forward from the shows traditional October/November time.

Since the 2015 London Golf Show ‘Raised The Bar’ at Bluewater in November, industry and visitor feedback has been excellent. Official visitor numbers were 14,881 over the three days of the show, 15% up on the previous year with a similar increase in the number of exhibitors. The organisers are again looking forward to breaking the records set in 2015.

Bluewater is one of Europe’s leading retail and leisure destinations and has become the London Golf Shows perfect home with the industry praising the location over the past years.

Simon Jones, Managing Director of The Golf Show Group commented on the confirmation by saying, “We are thrilled to confirm a 2016 date with Bluewater. Land Securities, Bluewaters owners, have been looking to redevelop the Glow facility. Fitting around their development plans was crucial for us to sustain the show. By moving the show forwards we are able to remain in the Glow halls that have seen two very successful shows and position ourselves exactly one month before the Ryder Cup, with interest in golf spiking around such events we are excited to host the show at such an exciting time on the golfing calendar.

“With re-bookings and interest following the previous show high we encourage everyone to make contact and find out how they can be part of the biggest coming together of golf brands under one roof.”

He added “We have also been discussing with Bluewater innovative ways for hosting the show in the future and continuing our relationship.”

The London Golf Show brings together the biggest and best names in golf, from the UK and around the world, providing a great platform for all within the golf industry to showcase their brand and make sales to the ABC1 audience that attend. Ranging from equipment, clothing and accessories, to coaching, competitions and destinations, there is scope for everyone to help grow the game.

The London Golf Show will once again feature the Golf Tourism Show, now a major part of the London Golf Show, it is aimed at increasing the marketing, selling and enjoyment of golf holidays both at home and abroad. This dedicated area of the show show is highly valued by the tourism industry present last year. With its own stage for presentations the Golf Tourism Show provides an unmatched forum for destinations and resorts to promote from, and to talk to golfers face to face. A dedicated ‘Golf Club Showcase’ adds to the inclusiveness, enabling Golf Clubs, no matter how big or small, access to the show and the thousands of visitors.

The organisers also invite all who work within the golf industry to attend for free, allowing exhibitors from all over the world to benefit from a large trade presence, and substantial networking and business opportunities that presents.
