“Garia luxury golf cars and leisure vehicles announced earlier this year that we would expand our business with a new business division, says Steen Scherff, Garia’s VP Sales EMEA, “and at the IOG SALTEX in Birmingham we had the official UK launch of the Garia utility vehicles, designed to target municipal, industrial and resort business more so than golf courses.”
The vehicles are new from the ground up and have nothing in common with a Garia golf car aside from sharing some components, and production techniques.
“The Garia utility vehicles are built like a car. Scandinavian design meets performance, handling and quality of build, second to none in this segment,” continues Steen Scherff. “Operator comfort, cost of ownership as well as the environment are all important aspects for our target customer and the electric utility vehicles has been designed and build to meet these criteria.
“Garia utility vehicles will be sold through a network of independent distributors across Europe. Several dealers and distributors has been signed and we received several serious inquires during SALTEX.”
