The 30 Foot Putt Challenge has been designed to encourage non-golfers to try golf (and to help raise awareness of National Golf Month). Everyone can get involved as little skill and only a putter and a golf ball (or similar) are required. The FSPA team were challenged by MD Jane Montgomery to complete a 30 Foot Putt and in response The FSPA donated £5 to Dementia UK for each team member that had a go. Jane said “I challenged the team to help raise awareness of National Golf Month. The FSPA are proud to support an initiative that that increases the numbers participating in golf.”
The FSPA promotes the benefits of physical activity across its 14 trade associations and approximately 500 member companies within the UK sports and play sectors. Because, the science is clear, physical activity does more than create good health. It contributes to leadership, productivity and innovation. It lowers depression and crime, increases education and income levels, and generates return to businesses. FSPA Members, in addition to receiving sector-specific benefits through their trade association, also gain access to a range of exclusive cost-saving membership benefits.
The Federation of Sports and Play Associations (FSPA) is the national not-for-profit umbrella trade body representing and promoting the interests of 15 trade associations and approximately 500 member companies within the UK sports and play sectors.
