The Golf Guide launches a fresh approach to digital golf advertising

2.28pm 25th November 2014 - Media

GolfGuide websiteThe Golf Guide announce that the website www.thegolfguide.co.uk is now live.

“We have styled the website to create a look and feel that reflects the high quality, glossy feel of the magazine using professional imagery at every opportunity” explains Digital Media director Andrew Noone.

“One of the key design decisions is to ensure that the golf clubs are the most important element of this site and we have attempted to showcase the whole footprint of the club, not just a few signature holes,” he continued.

Embedding technology that allows golfers to find golf clubs using an interactive map, will allow golfers to navigate to a club feature page that contains an overview and insight into a golf club. Embedding links to the golf club’s own website, provide the ability to contact the club online and book tee times from one central point, provides a single point of reference for all types of golfer.

The site is enhanced by an extensive social media marketing campaign that proactively advertises golf clubs and relevant news and features to the golfing community on a regular basis.

“Creating a platform where you can advertise a club’s entire footprint, visitor offers, membership deals, open events and complimentary non-golf products and services will make this website a vital reference point for all golfers across the UK, Ireland and Spain,” concludes Andrew. “The aim of the new site is very simple: Provide a high quality, easy to use digital platform that leads golfers to golf courses.

“If your club currently doesn’t have a full profile on the site and you wish to discuss the benefits of upgrading your profile, please get in touch to discuss our digital services in more detail.”
