The National Golf Club Challenge team are pleased to announce that SealSkinz, who make a range of waterproof, breathable socks, hats and gloves, will once again sponsor the National Golf Club Challenge charity event, in support of Help for Heroes.
As part of their ongoing commitment to the event, SealSkinz will be supplying product to the National Finalists and also the online auction website with SealSkinz’s ‘must have’ 100% waterproof and breathable golf accessories – consisting of Thin Mid Length Socks, Waterproof Mittens and Waterproof Cable Knit Beanies.
Concluding with the National Final in October at the world famous Turnberry Resort, the 2014 National Golf Club Challenge brought thousands of golfers together in May, June and July to compete against each other while at the same time raise much needed funds for Help for Heroes.
Each of the sixty 2014 Challenge Finalist will receive a gift from SealSkinz consisting of a pair of 100% waterproof and breathable Thin Mid Length Socks.
SealSkinz’s Head of Marketing David Richards said, ‘We’re proud to be able to support the National Golf Club Challenge and Help for Heroes again. Our products are currently used by the British Armed Forces and it is wonderful that we have this opportunity to support and raise funds for Help for Heroes and their fantastic work for our wounded troops.’
SealSkinz handbuild a large proportion of product in the UK and are very proud of their link to the British Isles. Their range of waterproof socks, hats and gloves enable wearers to endure the outdoor elements and stay out longer. The socks ensure when the grass is wet and gets over your golf shoes, that your feet remain dry, eliminating cold, wet feet and significantly reducing the risk of blisters.
Plans are already in place for the 2015 National Golf Club Challenge charity event, with golf clubs everywhere invited to take part. There is no fee for golf clubs to take part; the only requirement is for each club to raise as much money as they can by holding their own charity golf day which also acts as a qualifying event. The fundraising can be done at any time, including leading up to and during the event – or even all year round.
Golf clubs can register to take part in the 2015 National Golf Club Challenge by going to www.2015ngcc.com.
