Finally, the golf club industry in the Southeast Asian region will be able to avail itself to high quality training and education made possible by strategic collaborations put in place by CMAA-Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (CMAA-Asia) headquartered in Singapore.
In a milestone development, CMAA-Asia has entered into a partnership with Training Vision, a leading training institute that specialises in providing an integrated and holistic approach towards the design and methodology of workforce development training programmes.
“We are delighted to be working with CMAA-Asia to bring top quality training and education to the club industry in the region and it is our hope that together, we will be able to make a significant contribution to the future growth of the industry in our region,” said David Kwee, Training Vision’s chief executive officer during the signing of the official memorandum of understanding today.
CMAA-Asia will collaborate with Training Vision to offer various training and education modules in service related areas including the co-creation of specific programmes to address special needs of the club industry.
“We elected to partner with Training Vision because of their solid track record and the shared vision that both our organisations have to help upgrade service standards in the region and they are an organisation that will bring a lot of value to the table over the long haul,” said Mike Sebastian, president of CMAA-Asia.
Training Vision has been established since 1991 and includes among its clients top international corporations and various organisations from the government and public sectors in the region.
“We will be announcing the specific programmes that we will be offering jointly within the coming weeks,” revealed Lawrence Young, the CMAA-Asia’s director of education.
Present at the signing ceremony were Norintan Shariff, Sheryl Tan and Nitin Goil representing Training Vision and Angela Raymond, Lawrence Young and Alice Ho from CMAA-Asia.
Additional MOUs will be concluded with a number of other strategic training and education partners in the coming days and weeks.
