Colliers International’s Parks team has been instructed by a private client to sell Forest Hill Golf & Conference Centre in Botcheston, Leicestershire, for offers over £2 million.
Forest Hill Golf & Conference Centre underwent a major capital investment program; the property’s facilities include a par 73 18-hole, 6,490 yard, championship golf course, a floodlit 26 bay driving range, as well as a 11,700 sq ft clubhouse.
The property is set in the National Forest, with the golf course occupying an undulating mature semi-wooded landscape. Forest Hill has three function rooms, with capacity for 20 to 200 guests, as well as a bar and restaurant. Additionally, the club supports an established food and beverage trade, including a Sunday carvery.
John Rushby, Director of Parks, Sports and Marinas, Colliers International commented: “The team is excited to take this superbly located golf course and conference centre to market, we expect to receive high levels of interest and offers exceeding the asking price of £2 million.
“Forest Hill Golf Club has a prime location situated in the National Forest; the course is set in mature woodland with ornamental lakes and natural hazards, making it an extremely popular destination for golfers and non-golfers alike.”
