GCBAA Announces New Members, Renewals for 2014

GCBAA logoThe Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) recently approved Frontier Golf for Certified Builder membership, while Formost Construction Co. and Mike Roach Inc. became the association’s first two Certified Golf Irrigation Contractors.

The three newest members receiving GCBAA certification joined 28 other companies that were recertified after completing renewal applications last fall and at the annual GCBAA Board of Governors meeting, held during the Golf Industry Show in Orlando, Fla.

Formed in 1992, Frontier Golf’s work can be found at finer private clubs, resorts and daily-fee venues from New Hampshire to California, as well as in the Caribbean and Central America.

With more than fifty years of construction experience, Formost Construction Co. is known for its work with private country clubs. The company has been involved in the construction of more than 250 courses in the United States, England, South Africa, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, Saipan and the Philippines.

Based in Richland, S.C., Mike Roach Inc. has worked alongside some of the most well-known golf course architects in the nation, including Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Pete and P.B. Dye, Raymond Floyd, Arnold Palmer and Tom Fazio.
