BLEC Global have returned from one of the biggest outdoor equipment shows in Belgium, where they demonstrated and sold machinery.
The Wertuigendagen Fair, attended by about 80,000 visitors over two days, resulted in orders for several BLEC Power Box Rakes.
BLEC managing director Gary Mumby said: “Exports account for around 60 per cent of our business, so demonstrations outside the UK are very important to us. We are delighted at the number of orders taken following the Belgium show and the number of visitors was outstanding.
“Following closely behind the success of IOG SALTEX, we are working hard to consolidate our business both in the UK and abroad.”
BLEC will have a stand at BIGGA’s show BTME in Harrogate 21-23 January 2014.
Supplying a wide range of machines for the landscaping, groundcare and sportsturf industry from their headquarters near Peterborough, the BLEC team are no strangers to long-distance trips.
In recent months they have visited and supplied equipment to Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Israel and Turkey.
