Tractor and groundcare specialist Kubota UK has appointed Adrian Langmead as Business Development Manager to support dealers and end-users in the company’s fastest growing and most established markets.
One of Kubota’s longest-serving employees, Adrian originally joined the business in 1986 as a Service Engineer and went on to become Service Manager and Parts Manager, before moving in to a dealer development role in 2007.
Adrian’s appointment signals a new approach to the agriculture and groundcare markets for the leading Japanese manufacturer, which will see Adrian lead a team of dedicated dealer and product managers servicing customers in these different sectors.
Commenting on his new role, Adrian said: “These are exciting times for Kubota UK and our customers. The company is not only introducing brand new products into the agriculture and groundcare market like the lower horsepower M60 range of tractors and GR2120S ride-on mower, we are also taking existing products into new markets.
“We are also working closely with our dealers to support them as well as end-users, making sure that everyone who buys, hires or operates a Kubota machine has the best possible service and experience.
“There is a very positive atmosphere within Kubota UK right now, with the company recording its highest ever turnover last year and employing record numbers in the UK.
“There are several exciting new developments in the pipeline, not least the prospect of higher horsepower tractors in the next few years. I’m very much looking forward to working with our dealers and end-users in both the tractor and groundcare markets to build on existing strengths and maximise opportunities for shared growth and success.”
Kubota UK has supplied tractors, utility vehicles and ride-on mowers to the groundcare sector for nearly 35 years, while the agriculture market represents the newest and fastest-growing market for the company.
