The latest Golf Memorabilia Auction has just started at www.oldsportsauction.com with 300 lots available for sale
Famous golfer and television commentator Peter Alliss has consigned nice items into the auction, including his 1969 Ryder Cup bag complete with the 4 matching club head covers; Golf Clubs he played with that helped him to win 21 tournaments.
Peter played 8 Ryder Cups and 10 World Cup events, using some of these clubs.
Also available are his father, Percy Alliss’s clubs, including a putter that was at the 1929 Ryder Cup and two golf clubs from the days when he was golf professional in Germany in 1930.
The latest Golf Memorabilia Auction includes a wonderful array of items, not least a unique unlisted French made bronze statue of a golf circa 1910; rare golf balls from 1880 onwards, books, artwork, prints, trophies, silver items and much more including an amazing photo album with 109 images of major golf tournaments 100 years ago; a set 9 previously unknown postcards showing JH Taylor in a exhibition match.
