New Balls Please: Lynx Boom Boom 2

10.10am 5th July 2013 - New Products

Boom Boom BallsLynx Golf, pioneers of some of the hottest technology development in the market with its Boom Boom 2 collection of clubs, has launched a new ball to complement the range.

The three-piece Boom Boom 2 ball features a low compression core for a soft feel but high speed, Ionomer mantle to add even more speed and straightness and a cast urethane cover for exceptional feel and great spin around the greens.

A 318-dimple pattern combines with these features for a mid to low ball flight with a penetrating trajectory and this gives the ball the added ability to hold its line in crosswinds.

The ball (RRP £35/doz) has been specially developed to complement Lynx’s superhot Boom Boom 2 clubs, where Hot 1 technology is used to fill the clubheads with a blend of gases to optimise performance and deliver extreme distance.

Lynx recently announced the introduction of this pioneering Hot 1 Technology across a brand new breed of drivers, fairway woods and rescue clubs with the outstanding Boom Boom 2 collection .

Said Lynx Golf CEO, Steve Elford: “As with the Boom Boom 2 clubs, we believe we have created a premium product that performs to the highest standards but is affordable for all golfers

“Given our passion for explosive yardages it would have been easy to produce a pure distance ball that was rock hard but went miles, but we wanted to launch a ball that has all the hallmarks of quality and performance for which Lynx is becoming well known again.”

In striking red, black and silver metallic packaging with the iconic Lynx cat logo, the balls also pack visual appeal for pro shop shelves.

Lynx Golf is dedicated to supporting ‘green grass’ Pro shop business, with more than 400 accounts in the UK.
