Blinder Bunker Partners with EIGCA

Blinder Bunker’s overseas arm, Blinder International, has become a Bronze Industry Partner to the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA), as the company looks to roll out its unique bunker liner system into more continental European countries.

The partnership was confirmed at the recent EIGCA Conference in Malmo, Sweden.

The EIGCA Industry Partnership programme provides companies with opportunities to meet and communicate directly with members and to have a platform to promote services and products. As an Industry Partner Blinder International wlll take part in the EIGCA’s education and CPD programmes and will be recognised on theEIGCA website and at all official EIGCA functions.

“We are delighted to put our relationship with the EIGCA on a more formal footing as we appreciate the influence of the Institute’s members have in recommending Blinder Bunker to golf clubs and Course Managers they deal with,” explained Penny Long, Director of Blinder Bunker.

“We are looking to roll the Blinder Bunker System out into new international markets and welcome the support of EIGCA members in considering the specification of the system for ‘nuisance’ bunkers initially, with a view to more full bunker renovation programmes,” said Penny.

“We are delighted that Blinder International have become a Bronze Industry Partner and we hope that this is the start of a long and happy association with the EIGCA,” said Julia Green, EIGGA’s Executive Officer.
