Club Car has expanded its UK golf distribution network in response to a dramatic increase in demand for the Company’s Car vehicles. Kevin Hart, Club Car business development manager, said, “Golf car users will benefit from a more regionalised network of Club Car distributors. The aim is to build up a network of up to 8 distributors with regional responsibility across the UK.
“As part of Club Car’s commitment to our new distributor network, it is a great pleasure to welcome Martin Lucas to the team. Martin brings with him 20 years experience of the ground care and golf industry.”
Club Car is to be the official supplier of golf cars to the European Tour in 2001/2. Hart explained, “The highlight of the year will be our involvement as the official supplier of golf cars to the Ryder Cup 2001 and sponsor of the European team. Club Car customers will be flying in from around the world to watch this magnificent tournament at the Belfry”.
