With only 10 days to go until the start of the inaugural Manchester Golf Show, the Golf Show Group has confirmed that Robert Rock will open the show! Robert will be at the show for the entire three days promoting the range of G/FORE golf gloves and will also be appearing on stage and available to answer questions from visiting golfers and the press.
Multi tournament winning Robert is one of the most charismatic and stylish players on the European Tour – a favourite with players and the fans. Robert broke into the major league when he won the BMW Italian Open in 2011, which he soon followed up with his now famous win at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in 2012.
However, despite these recent victories Robert is passionate about the grass roots of the game and recently created The Robert Rock Academy developed to foster and nuture talent in golf, from beginners and juniors through to the professional level! With a desire to get more people involved in the sport, irrespective of level, the academy provides a tangible pathway to developing golfing skills.
Robert himself had a unique and interesting rise to fame, starting as a shop assistant and then working through the PGA, creating his own opportunities, plans and goals. He will be sharing his experiences and learnings at the Manchester Golf Show, inspiring others to achieve their aspirations.
