360 Golf has been operating in the golf business for 20 years, developing and building new golf courses, managing facilitates for owners and advising and giving an informed “second opinions” in all areas of the golf business.
Operating as Barrelfield Golf until 2005, 360 Golf is now owned and run by Melvin Thomas and Robert Clive.
Created in 1992 initially to help farmers and land owners on the feasibility and developing business plans for new golf development, early projects included Clandon Regis, Merrist Wood and Caversham Heath. The business naturally evolved into club management and experience and expertise gained here then led to advisory, consultancy and “Health Check” work.
Over the last 20 years, 360 Golf has worked at every type and size of golf facility, from Private members and Proprietary clubs to Municipal facilities and Driving ranges. They have worked with owners, local authorities, developers and banks in this time and understand the very different ways they operate.
Some appointments are concise and straightforward, where a simple second opinion or brief report is just required, whereas other instructions can be more involved and lead to long associations, such as the relationship with Reigate Hill, which 360 developed in 1995 and where they still have an operational role.
360 Golf are based in the UK but have experience operating in North Africa, India, the Caribbean and several European Countries.
360 Golf worked with a leading high end golf developer on delivering the prestigious Queenwood in Surrey, which has recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.
360 also worked with and advised the members of Loch Lomond in their successful efforts to buy their club.
Recently 360 Golf have been part of a group that bought The Point at Polzeath in North Cornwall and are working on the turnaround of this business.
360 Golf are currently working on a couple on very exciting new projects that will be announced soon. 20 years, a lot of work, a lot of fun and many friends made.
