Lynx Golf has always been synonymous with innovation and was the first to introduce metal woods into popular modern golf. Now the company renowned for its technological innovation is launching, quite literally, the hottest new club in golf.
The Boom Boom 2 – the result of years of research and development and testing – will make its debut in the UK next month. The most technologically-advanced driver to date, the Boom Boom 2 has been engineered in a radically different way to achieve unprecedented distance and performance.
In a restless pursuit of the next best innovation, Lynx has harnessed a radical amalgam of materials into the Bi-Titanium head construction with their own leading edge “Hot 1Technology” to create a club that redefines how power and distance feel.
Also created by Lynx’s research and development team, the Boom Boom 2’s Hot 1 Technology embraces a bespoke head cover that heats the club head to optimal temperature to enhance performance from the materials that have been engineered into it to ensure that every time the ball is hit the club affords maximum consistency and distance. The ‘mystery elements’ when combined with Lynx’s structural technology and heat give the Boom Boom 2 its unique performance qualities.
Joint Managing Director Steve Elford said: “Lynx has a reputation for passionately pursuing advanced innovative technologies that help golfers of all abilities optimise their skills and enjoyment of the game. The Boom Boom 2’s unique build characteristics will help all golfers achieve distance that they never dreamed possible.”
Independent testing at the German RoboGolf facility has demonstrated that the Boom Boom 2 is now officially the longest driver on the market, beating every club by every manufacturer listed on their comprehensive testing results site (www.robogolf.com).
Independent testing demonstated that the Boom Boom 2 (10.5 Reg) out-hit the TaylorMade RBZ by Fifteen Yards, and the 9 deg Stiff favoured by Pro players not only added more than Seven Yards to the Callaway Diablo Edge Tour model but was also among the straightest hitters with a dispersion rate of just 3.3.
The Boom Boom 2, it seems, is guaranteed to continue Lynx’s proud tradition.
