What is probably the only English course of its kind has come to the market with a guide price of £3.95m.
Idehill Manor in Devon boasts the only private championship-length course in the country and comes with a period manor house once owned by King George II, a cottage, heated swimming pool and over 50 acres of peaceful undulating country about five miles from the coast of South Devon.

The course was created for the present owner, a retired businessman, eight years ago with natural hazards like streams and woods. It tests the player’s skill and strategic acumen with holes varying from 95 yards to a record 740 yards (par 6) – said to be the longest hole in Britain.
The whole course is 6,117 yards (par 73) with shorter variations possible. The course is looked after by a local greenkeeper.
